Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the PitchSlap mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the App.
Description of Service
PitchSlap is an AI-powered vocal training and coaching platform that provides:
- Real-time pitch detection and vocal analysis
- Vocal exercises and training programs
- Progress tracking and analytics
- Community features including battles, challenges, and social interactions
- Educational content and lessons
User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must not share your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- You abuse or harass other users
- You attempt to manipulate or exploit the service
User Content
Your Content
- You retain ownership of content you create (recordings, profile information)
- You grant us a license to use, store, and display your content to provide the service
- You are responsible for your content and must not upload illegal, offensive, or infringing material
Content Guidelines
You agree NOT to upload or share content that:
- Violates laws or regulations
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
- Includes explicit sexual content
- Promotes violence or illegal activities
- Contains spam or malicious code
- Impersonates others or misrepresents identity
Acceptable Use
You Agree To:
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Respect other users and community guidelines
- Provide honest feedback and ratings
- Report violations and inappropriate content
You Agree NOT To:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use automated systems (bots) to interact with the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
- Access accounts or data without authorization
- Sell, rent, or transfer your account
- Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
- Manipulate scores, rankings, or achievements
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
Intellectual Property
PitchSlap owns all rights to the app, including software, code, design, graphics, branding, and content. We grant you a limited license to use the app for personal use only.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
PitchSlap is NOT a replacement for professional vocal coaching. The app provides educational tools and automated feedback. Always consult professional instructors for personalized guidance.
Health and Safety
- Warm up properly before vocal exercises
- Stop immediately if you experience pain or discomfort
- Do not overexert your voice
- Seek medical attention for vocal issues
- The app is not a medical device or diagnostic tool
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to $100.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by posting updated Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
BY USING PITCHSLAP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.
